IANAAppCodePage Values

Table 1-1 lists supported code page values for the IANAAppCodePage connection option. Refer to the individual driver chapters in the DataDirect Connect Series for ODBC User’s Guide for information about this attribute.

To determine the correct numeric value (the MIBenum value) for the IANAAppCodePage connection string attribute, perform the following steps:

1	Determine the code page of your database.

2	Determine the MIBenum value that corresponds to your database code page. To do this, go to:

http://www.iana.org/assignments/character-sets

On this web page, search for the name of your database code page. This name will be listed as an alias or the name of a character set, and will have a MIBenum value associated with it.

3	Check Table 1-1 to make sure that the MIBenum value you looked up on the IANA Web page is supported by the DataDirect Connect Series for ODBC. If the value is not listed, contact Progress Customer Support to request support for that value.
