The driver requires Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU) 8.2 or higher, which includes CLIv2, TGSS, and ICU client software, on all platforms. It requires TTU 12.0 to support 12.0 functionality.NOTE: TTU 12.0 is not available for the Itanium II platform. You can use TTU 8.2 on an Itanium II client to connect to a Teradata 12.0 database, but functionality is limited to that of TTU 8.2.
